10th June 2018: First Holy Communion of Cameron, Cherish, Jake and Reece
In June of this year, we welcomed the family and friends of Cameron, Cherish, Jake and Reece who celebrated their First Holy Communion on the 10th June. As a community we were grateful to Chris Mitchell and Anne Stewart for all their hard work in preparing the girls for this special day. The children played a big part in the service, including singing during the offertory and communion and reading the bidding prayers. They were joined by Daniel who made his First Holy Communion with the school this week but wished to mark his first communion with us, his worshipping community, at this mass. Afterwards, the parish enjoyed cake and samosas courtesy of the children' parents.
