Adam, Simon and Christopher Doll 18th February 2007

On Sunday 18th February, Adam, Simon and Christopher Doll made their First Holy Communion in our church. The brothers had been preparing for this day for a number of weeks having made their first confessions just before Christmas 2006.

The boys' younger brother, parents, grandparents were there to celebrate with them and the family also led the bidding prayers and took part in the offertory procession. In celebration, the Dolls kindly provided a cake for the parish to enjoy after Mass.

This was an important day for the parish because this was the culmination of several months of instruction provided, for the first time, by members of our own parish and leading to children receiving their First Holy Communion in our church as part of our celebration of Sunday Mass.
