Responsibilities

The volunteers on this rota work in pairs and every Sunday they take the children of the parish into our parish room during the first part of the Mass. There they work with the children to help them to gain an understanding of what the theme of that Sunday's mass is all about through various activities such as reading, praying, drama and completing worksheets. The Children's Liturgy team also coordinate the Young People's Mass. Click here for more information.

At Blessed Robert Grissold Catholic church, we are committed to child safety. We have a child protection officer and all our volunteers are CRB checked before working with children in any capacity.

If you are on the rota but are unable to cover any of the days allocated to you, please contact another member of the rota and arrange to swap in advance.
